Summer is upon us and with it high electrical bills.
AC’s consume a great amount of electricity and it is important to use them as efficiently as possible.
1. Don’t cool empty rooms. You are not home, why should the AC run? Shut it off
2. Keep you room cool not the outside air. Your AC has 2 settings. It brings in outside air and cools it down, which is very expensive. Much better to circulate and cool the indoor air which is already cooled down. The difference in consumption could be more than 5o%
3. Try 76dg. IF your AC has a temperature setting try 76 degrees. It is comfortable and will save you a lot of money.
If you follow those rules you can cut the cost for running AC’s in half and still be comfortable without breaking a sweat.
